There are still a few “Protect Trans Kids! Protect the Dolls!” posts popping up on my social media, but they seem to be limited to my most woke and clueless friends. My mainstream mom friends are taking deep breaths and keeping their mouths shut. That is a positive sign. I’ve got to believe that we’re swimming towards the surface of “Believe the Science” again: no one can change sex. Even if Trump’s executive orders are flipped in a few years, I don’t think the Democrats can tie themselves to this anti-woman and anti-LGB ideology again. Most Americans aren’t buying it anymore. The War is over: Trans lost, Reality won.
But I’m still thinking about these confused and vulnerable kids – the gay kids, the autistic kids, the lonely and isolated kids. There are at least four girls in my daughter’s high school who are transitioned – two of them on testosterone. There are at least six more in our social circle who have medicalized, and another 14 I know of who have socially transitioned. Everyone has a neighbor, classmate, family member who has been caught up in this. What happens to them? I predict there will be a broader retreat from this mass psychosis, and many of these young people will learn to walk through the world carrying the physical scars and mental damage from this era. Like the generation of Vietnam Vets who ambled around my city during the 1970s and early 1980s – they will be the wounded victims of a pointless war.

My goal in making this suggestion is to support the prolife movement, and also to give those who do or might vote much more of a stake in that privilege. I suggested this recently, on r/prolife, and it was pretty much peed on. But I think it's a good idea.
The idea that I expect all people to appreciate is this: it will place our country's future directly and completely in the hands of those who can be expected to care about it the most. Those who have the biggest stake in that same future. If men lose their kids, they can make more. Women have much more limited possibilities, for having children. For them, the children they have may be the only ones they will ever get. And so they can be expected to care about that future much more than anyone else.
The idea that I hoped prolifers would appreciate is this: it shows that prolifers do actually value women. We get tagged a lot with "anti-woman" views, as though half of the slaughtered (or more) weren't going to be women, if they had the chance. And it's a way of trying to bring down the abortion rate without using the law to punish people whose concerns you will never share.
And who knows? If we as a society value women more - and I think this is a way of doing that - maybe they will value themselves more, and indulge less in the behaviors that lead to abortion.
EDIT: Just to be clear, the only people who will be able to vote, in my scheme, will be women who have living children. Sorry I didn't make that quite clear earlier.

The most significant case displayed a cluster of 348 nonparental genetic variants with precise simultaneous substitution of identical fragments on both chromosomes. There is no known biological mechanism or technical error that could produce such a change. Achieving such a genetic manipulation at the time of conception with current methods is possible but difficult using CRISPR technology, which emerged in 2013. Since the studied children were born before 1990, human genetic manipulation cannot be an explanation of the observed 16 Kb substitution in homologous chromosomes. This is strong evidence for extraterrestrial genetic manipulation. Further, two unrelated families showed major nonparental insertions at the same genomic hotspot on chromosome 3, suggesting this region serves as a preferred integration site. Quality control analysis confirmed these represent genuine biological signals through low background variation in normal (98%) of studied families, contrasted with sharp nonparental variant density peaks, achieving statistical significance of p < 10^-13. Families identified as having nonparental insertions displayed a clustered density of nonparental variants 50 times stronger than normal families. The non-random chromosomal clustering and technical precision required for these insertions provide solid evidence for extraterrestrial genetic modification with technology that went beyond human capabilities at the time of conception. Additionally, my pilot analysis of two families with self-reported self-suspecting alien abduction experiences using inexpensive, generic commercial 23andMe genotyping detected similar nonparental contributions, supporting this approach for self-suspecting alien abductee volunteers to identify traces of genetic manipulations as an affordable "do-it-yourself" method. Future research should test the biological significance of alien genetic modifications and see what functions were altered in people.
